No privileges updateGot a call from Tom Trease of No Privileges today. They are doing a show at Hidden Creek Community Center this Friday the 29th. Its on Detroit ave just across the Michigan line. 5 bands starts at 7pm $5 cover. A buck a band isn't bad. They recorded Their first album "Along The Wall" here in September.

Studio 33 Recording on the MoveGetting a lot of calls lately and most of them are turning into sessions. I can dig it. Just talked to Josh from the Comeback tonight. Toledo Loses a Young Musician
Our
prayers are with the family of Morgan Duris. She was taken suddenly
from us Thursday January 21 2010 at the young age of 15. Morgan was a
freshman at Northview High School where she played the violin in the
Orchestra. She was also a member of the Toledo International Youth
Orchestra. This also means that she was a part of at least four
recording sessions and concert recordings that I have done for the

December 09 Valhalla invades Studio 33 Recording
Valhalla
just picked up their final mix of "Mission Statement". They are a
Rossford OH based guitar rock band just getting on their feet. In fact
they are as of right now looking for a bass player and a singer. Was a
crazy loud session and we hope to have them back soon for the rest of

November 2009 TIYO Records with Studio 33 for the 5th time
We
are honored to have the opportunity to recording the Toledo
International Youth Orchestra for the 5th time at Westgate Chapel in
Sylvania. The recordings consisted of a dedicated recording session and
a live concert recording on 11/22. Several members of the Toledo
Symphony Orchestra and others also participated as soloists. Since TIYO
is a nonprofit organization they will use the recordings to fund the

November 2009 The Party Hats release "Driftwood"
The
Party Hats did a short but sweet session with us in mid September. What
came of it was a rock song that is fun and musically challenging. They
are a Brother sister duo Ginger on Drums and Emi on guitar and vocals
out of Sylvania Ohio. They have a great musical chemistry together. The
Party Hats released Driftwood at a show at The Black Cherry on Nov 20.
We are big fans of all there stuff and hope they come back to us soon

October 2009 - Studio 33 Recording Finishes a week lockout with THE COMEBACK
What
a project! The Comeback have left the building. This is one of our best
sounding projects to date. The Comeback is a 4 piece rock band for east
Toledo. The sounds and creativity that was allowed to let loose in the
sessions is rare. Musicianship was excellent and so were the wingstaion
wings we ate a couple times during the week. Engineer Paul Wise ended

October 2009 - Studio 33 Recording Owner Engineer Paul Wise Releases MY MOTHER AMERICA
I
am releasing "My Mother America", a seven song album that I have been
working on over the summer. It is my first solo release and has been a
great experience to work on for sure. The songs range from rock and
roll to atmospheric pop about my life experiences.
