Big Mic Preamp Upgrade

April 23, 2012
We were just blessed enough yesterday to be able to get a hold of 10 channels of some of the best microphone preamps you can get. This gives us tools that are the best in the industry on virtually everything that you can send through them. Very excited to get them rocking in the control room. Heres what we got. 8 channels of Vintech x73 preamps(The Neve 1073 circuit) 2 Channels of Universal Audio 610 tube

Addition to the mic closet!

February 2, 2012
We will now be using a Sennheiser MD421-II . A classic microphone to add to the collection. They have been around forever. Very excited to hear one again its been a while. They are a beast of a mic and sound amazing on most everything you can put one in front of!

Malaria

January 29, 2012
Spent all week with Malaria. Great guys. We are doing 8 tracks with them and are smack dab in the middle of mixing the project. Our week ended on a scary note as Ben(killer bass player) got into a wreck with his car. Hes doing well though no injuries. They describe themselves as "Metal Rock" with influences from all over the musical spectrum. Lots of double kick from Ian on drums and loud guitars from Matt. Lastly future US Marine Steve(vocals) finished his tracking thursday afternoon. Its been a great week as we pushed hard to get the most out of the songs. Excited to hear the finished product.

Sam Tolson w/ Blake Stahlhut

January 29, 2012
Had a great session with Sam Tolson and Blake Stahlhut a week ago. They put together a cover of Paramores "The Only Exception" in a few hours. It turned out nicely if I must say. Blake had a very cheap, old, yet great sounding guitar for the track. 414s did the trick for the guitar and Sam did a beautiful sounding vocal into the TLM 103 for the finishing touches. Sam wants to come back and do a few more tracks in the near future. Hope to work with both of them again.

Ship is sailing

January 11, 2012
We have been doing sessions all week and will continue as the week roles on. We still have a piano guitar combo and a pre production session with Malaria at their rehearsal space. Also looks like we are going to be doing an album with a sylvania band. Ill give the name when its confirmed. Also maybe a crazy big church praise album too, got that call today. Lastly im going to be launching a website of my own as a recording artist. Very thankful to be this busy. I never feel closer to the reason i am on this earth than when im busy with music.

Oh the calls we have been getting!!!!!!

January 11, 2012
Well in the last couple of months we have been getting calls from the likes of Discovery Network, National Public Radio(NPR) and MTV in New York. We are very excited to finally be getting the attention of these household names as our reputation builds across the industry.

**I can See the Future!! HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT**

November 21, 2011
Well I have built this studio and am very pleased with it however why quit and become comfortable? My dream has always been to have a place where music in this area can be created to the highest standards possible. I am announcing plans to build a NEW STUDIO 33 RECORDING FACILITY as soon as God allows! I am happy with the current studio but I want to be able to accommodate projects such as larger groups and Orchestras. Currently I am talking to several studio design firms and and am looking for the right piece of property for this new adventure. YES WE ARE still doing our sessions at the current studio so don't hesitate to call and book a session. Ill keep you updated as things unfold
